Superbowl Sunday and Surprisingly Satisfying Brownies

So as most people do on Superbowl Sunday, my wife and I bundled up and headed to a friend's place to watch the big game. NYC in the winter is rarely fun, but the thought of friends and food made the trip much easier. We brought food as requested. My wife made her world famous baked ziti and I took the easy route and made brownies. Not in the mood to do it from scratch (cue the booing and hissing from all you foodies), I turned to my friend Duncan Hines. Now, not one to go without leaving my mark on a mix or something pre-made, I decided to literally spice it up a bit.
When we brought out the goodies at half time, I was happy to see people devouring the brownies and commenting that they were different in a very good way. Check out the recipes for an easy way to take a $2 box of brownies and make them your own.
Sorry, no pictures. Everyone ate them too quickly.
